It was so nice to have my family with me this week! We have visited the beach several times to watch the sunset and did a kayaking tour through mangrove tunnels. We work on the house in the morning and go play in the afternoon and evening, it’s nice. We’ve gotten used to the climate here, it’s very warm and it rains in the summer, but I love how different it is and I soak it all up!
We’ve come a long way in renovating the house. The hallway should be finished in about a week. We had to hire a specialist to replace a well pump as our landscaping is tied to well water even though the home uses city water. I’ve set up a relaxing little office space that I’ll be sharing later this week. And in between I’ve been working on some new art prints inspired by the amazing plants here in Florida.
