Yesterday was sunny so I took a long walk on the beach, it was beautiful looking at all the white sand and blue waters of the Gulf. In contrast, today is cold and raining, so I lit the electric fireplace and made mint tea. My family is arriving tomorrow for a week of celebrations and I am so excited that we are all back together cooking, playing games and watching movies. I have some gift ideas for tomorrow and Tuesday, then I make time for the family.
If you’re looking for a good series, I’ve seen The Empress and loved it! It’s a great story for those who enjoy European historical plays, and it’s based on real life royals, although I’ve read that they took some liberties, as shows often do these days. I’ve been working behind the scenes on some remodeling projects that I’ll be sharing with more holiday-related content in December. In the meantime….
